Hey guys just had my first play session with the new vatic Oni paddles and I would definitely consider these power paddles I think they’re more powerful than any gen2 thermor I’ve used before but what’s interesting is that during the soft game like inking and drops you wouldn’t think that this is a power paddle I actually found that area of the.
Game to be pretty easy to adjust to because during those shots the ball doesn’t come across as too powerful or poppy it’s when you start applying a bit more Force to it like punch volleys or drives that’s when the ball started shooting off the paddle a lot faster than I expected I would say that the power is just under something like a.
Gearbox Pro Power elongated but compared to that this does have a better Sweet Spot better feel to it and like I said it was more controllable in the soft game um also it only goes for 160 and that’s before a discount code but I’ll have more thoughts in the future once I get more play time with it but so far very interesting battle.
Do you have the 16 and the 14?
When you mention the power in comparison to the gearbox, is that both the flash and v7 versions of the Oni?
Which did you like more the flash or the v7 shape? The pro flash 16 is my main paddle right now.
thanks for the thoughts! excited to see what these are about
Thanks for the thoughts
How would you compare it to the new joola gen 3's?
I'm in for sure just need to decide between the Flash and V7. I used a flash for about six months until I wore it down. At the price you could get both for the cost of the Joola. I love supporting these smaller budget friendly companies.
did you have any difficulty with resetting balls with some pace? I heard this was a big weakness with the Joola gen 3 paddles
How was the spin?
It’s Gen 3 right
